The odyssey is not over but the path is clear. It will be quiet for a while, there is nothing new and nothing exciting in the lives of Odysseus and his Penelope.
Prepare well and have a plan B ready
They see each other one last time before they are separated for a long time.
I now spend 2 days in a small guesthouse to process the last exciting days.
I don't know what I'm doing, you might think, but in a way it's true.
It's easy to get out of Germany, but difficult to get back in as a former (and future) emigrant.
On the first of September, I crossed the French/German border at 13:30 and was back in my home country. With the firm belief ... everything will be fine.
"Ulysses only had a few days with his Penelope before the Odyssey began. A beautiful time with a beautiful woman in a beautiful country."
Nice walk for two along the river
Lake Chêne is a true oasis of peace and relaxation. Picnic with friends or family. With outdoor activities: games for children, boules, hiking, beach volleyball court, barbecue, fitness trail, tennis, fishing, pedal boats and much more.

A trip specially selected without toll roads.
My "hotel on wheels" is not "properly" registered thanks to the Portuguese authorities. This is because the car, like me, has or had German documents. The car had a German license plate and a German registration. Then the time came that I had to re-register it, because you have to do it after a certain period of time.
The preparations are quickly explained. My furniture was planned for sale right from the start. The problem is and was ... if you buy solid furniture in Germany and sell it in Portugal, you're a bit out of luck. A lot of things are cheaper in Portugal and people bargain until they drop. The falling over refers to the fact that at some point you say, okay, take it and that's it. So you give up and give the furniture away, so to speak. I think that even if you give it away, people still trade it.
